Mind the Gap

Four designers made dresses for Gap for celebrities and models to wear at the MET Costume Institute Gala on May 3rd.  The designers were: Sophie Theallet, winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2009; Thakoon, protege of Anna Wintour and winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2006; Alexander Wang, winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2008; and Rodarte, designed by sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, winner of the 2009 Womenswear CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund ward in 2009.

These dresses will be on display in a Gap pop-up store in NYC and will later be auctioned off.  I might need to save up some money for the Rodarte, I am absolutely in love.

Vera Farmiga and Jessica Alba in Sophie Theallet for Gap.

Riley Keough and Kerry Washington in Thakoon.

Mia and Koe Kravitz in Alexander Wang with the designer, Kirsten Dunst in Rodate with the designers.
